Information about Billing
Thank you for allowing Great Falls Clinic Medical Center to provide you quality medical care. It is our pleasure to serve you.
Great Falls Clinic Medical Center is happy to bill your insurance company for the services we provide you. It is however, your responsibility to assure your insurance will cover your visit. Please contact your insurer to verify their coverage limits.
These are the steps we will take to obtain payment from your insurance company:
- Contact the insurance company prior to your procedure to verify that the insurance information provided is correct.
- Ascertain whether or not pre-authorization is needed for your procedure based on the information provided us by your referring physician.
- Should we be informed by your insurance company that the procedure will not be covered you and your physician will be contacted so that you may determine your best course of action.
- Submit claims to your insurance for payment.
- Follow-up with your insurance company in cases of delayed payment or denials.
Once your insurance(s) have paid any balance will be transferred to self-pay status and you will receive a monthly statement until the balance is paid in full. GFCMC requires payments on your account to be of a sufficient amount to pay your balance in full within 13 months.
If you do not have insurance you will need to contact the Patient Services Manager at (406) 216-8008 to make payment arrangements.
If you do not feel you can meet these requirements financial assistance or extended payment plans may be available. Please contact the Patient Services Manager at (406) 216-8008 for more information on these programs. We can also assist with applying for Medicaid Services.
The GFC Medical Center appreciates your patronage and hopes you understand that in order to continue providing the high quality care our patients expect we must be fiscally responsible.
Sincerely,
GFCMC Patient Financial Services
