Insurance

The Insurance Department at Great Falls Clinic Medical Center works with patients and doctor’s offices to verify and precertify or preauthorize their insurances to prepare them for a surgical procedure or Inpatient hospital stay. The following list shows a few of the services we can offer:

• Verify eligibility
• Check each patient’s benefits and exclusions
• Assist the patient in understanding their coverage and exclusions
• Advise patients with no insurance coverage of options available
• Assist the doctor’s offices in getting the necessary authorizations
• Assist Utilization Review nurse with patients needing continued stay reviews and extended authorizations
